hi! welcome to my about page. well, the first one, anyways. i have another that you can visit on the sidebar if you are really that curious about my personality and whatnot.
i'm in college for psychology, but right now, i'm on a break. truthfully, i'm quite unsure of what i want to do in the future. i thought i wanted to be a doctor, but after working at a clinic as a medical assistant for a while, i realized i don't like people that much (lol). i had my love for technology recently renewed, so that's what i'd like to do for the time being.
my activity on here is a bit sporadic. i am disabled, so sometimes, i just don't have to energy to work on my site. it's either that, or i'm too busy with something else. either way, please enjoy all of the cute izayas on my site.
i've been coding since 2015 technically, but back then, my experience was
limited to editing my tumblr theme, lol. in 2020, i got super obsessed with
carrd,
and eventually, just started coding half the site myself, so i decided to
make
this website.
i started it in 2021 or so, and back then, it was kinda... really bad.
although i was comfortable coding my own little things here and there on
carrd, i didn't know how to write the whole thing from scratch, so i had to
learn all that first. actually, i don't think i really started treatign this
as a proper site until 2022. it took me a while, lol.
the original url for this site used to be balladeer, which was taken from my
favorite genshin character, scaramouche. but i've grown out of genshin over
the years, and as much as i love him, i wanted the url of this site to be
something that is really important to me. thus, i chose corktree. which is
based off my favorite album of all time from my favorite band of all time.
i've certainly improved in terms of my coding skills since i started this
website, but the one thing i always still believe i lack in is my
creativity... i really love sites
that have a bunch of elements put together so neatly that it looks perfect
as a
complete piece. that, and i don't really know how to draw... so i can't draw
custom elements to make my site look more unique. i'd love to make my
website
look like that one day.

FAVORITE ALBUMS: BLACK LIST & D.N.A.
these are my two current favorite bands!!! i love yasu's work so much and his voice is incredibly beautiful to me. i only got into both of them at the beginning of this yar (2025), but it really feels like i have loved them for much longer. my dream is to see at least one of them live someday...
my music taste is very all over the place truthfully haha. though i do tend to
gravitate to more emo/alternative rock type music no matter what... that being
said i grew up with rnb rap and pop so they hold a special place in my heart as
well! ^_^
some other artists i like a lot are fall out boy, my chemical romance, one ok rock, kendrick lamar, kenshi yonezu, panic! at he disco, yuya matsushita, maximum the hormone, selena, and kakihara tetsuya!
i also enjoy vocaloid! my favorite producers are neru, giga-p, wowaka, and kikuo!
i've been collecting cds for 10 years now! my first two were ab/ap and from under
the cork tree. i have a bit of a vinyl collection as well, but i've stopped getting any new ones recently just due to how expensive they are. (i'll probably end up selling some of those as well) my first vinyl was gym class heroes' as cruel as school children back in 2016. you can check out my

izaya is my beautiful angel princess wife💖 i
loved him for many many years (8) and my last words will probably be
something like 'i wish i sexualized izaya more'. to put it simply im ガチ恋
with him so i'm very passionate and crazy about izaya (^□^)
i'm not usually that eloquent about my feelings towards izaya so one of the
most common phrases in my mind is 'izaya is so cute...' which is true! but
the frequency of its appearance is a testament to its validity (along with
how small my brain is). whenever i see art of him (especially the ones where
hes just doing mundane things and looks really beautiful) (also the ones
where hes so cute and youthful and funny and whatnot) i have to fight back
the urge to bash my skull into the nearest wall or my desk. it's so intense.
i don't think it's exactly healthy for me to have such a visceral reaction
but i don't know how else to react to such information. in japanese i call
him the 世界で一番美しい存在 (or variations of this) which just means he's the most
beautiful entity in the entire world. which is true. i wouldn't say it if it
wasn't true. i want to dote on him and call him beautiful and cute and my
angel even though i think pet names are really stupid and cheesy. for some
reason whenever i think of izaya i can't help but want to be cheesy and
painfully corny. this must also be due to the izaya disease.
i've been collecting for izaya for abt 6 years now and i have a few
itaboard/itabags to show off my charms + badges ♡ he means a lot to me and i
know i already rambled my ass off about him on the fave characters page but
i wanted a special thing for him here too!!!!!!! he's shaped me as a person
a lot and so it only feels right i mention him here too.
i also yume w izaya (shocker)... i once had a dream where we went on a date
to a fob show and ended up meeting patrick stump who told us 'wow you guys
are really strange. you should get married!' so in an ideal world me and
izaya are married while i subject him to listening to fall out boy lore
explanations 🥰 and i make him buy me all the expensive ass clandestine
industries merch from back in the day along with the cork tree hot topic
vinyl pressing 💞
i cannot draw unfortunately but if i could i would draw so many funny 4koma
gag manga of me and izaya which may or may not involve fall out boy. every
artist i've commissioned thus far is like my savior i owe them all my lives.
especially with how awful i am at explaining my thoughts .
my bedroom is just as haunting as you can imagine. maybe even more so. for
some reason they made a lot of izaya pillows and i have to put them
somewhere so they're all on my bed now. which means whenever i wake up i'm
immediately met with that freakish demon.(i get up every day and start
giggling and kicking my feet as soon as i see him) i wasn't really trying
but at some point my room ended up becoming an itabeya with 90% of my stuff
being izaya LOL.
i won't really ramble any more than i already have on this site bc i have an
entire website dedicated to that so. if you wanna hear more about my
