ALBUMRANKING
I don't actually hate any of MCR's albums! They're all really good and I enjoy listening to all of them without any skips. Here are a little bit of my thoughts on each album:
Three Cheers: My current fave. Every song on here is absolutely brilliant. My fave off this album atm is I Never Told You...the guitar riff at the beginning and just that whole part is such a wonderful intro. Also the tagline for this site is...from this song lol.
Black Parade: Very close second fave! Sometimes it overtakes Revenge actually. I hyperfixated like crazy on this album a while back and played it almost daily;; TIHID is my favorite song from here and one of my fave MCR songs in general!!!! Need to hear it live one day.
Bullets: Now I actually never listened to this album when I was younger! In fact I just rly started listening to it this year...at first I didn't enjoy it much, but after a while I was like wait this is fucking good! Once read a comment that said to truly enjoy this album you need to be depressed and I absolutely agree. Demolition Lovers is my fave btw... <3
Danger Days: This album grew a lot on me recently and I forgot how much I loved it when I was younger! I do prefer MCR's more edgy and dark music but DD is so fun and hyper I love it so much. My fave is def Party Poison and it has been for years, it goes absolutely CRAZY
I first got into MCR at 11. In early 2015, I was just becoming a Fall Out Boy fan and noticed a lot of the
other fans were into some other bands as well. I decided to listen to them
out of curiosity. I didn't care much for Panic! or 21p
at the time, but something about My Chem stuck with me. Going off my Spotify listening history, my first album I really listened to was TBP, but I only listened to the singles, as with the rest of their albums. I really liked House of Wolves and Fake Your Death.
Today, MCR is one of my favorite bands still. TBH They might even be my top band now that I'm older and can appreciate their music better. They mean a lot to me and I still can't believe they came back together. I used to lament over the fact that I'd never see them live and whatnot, but 7 yrs later...! Their whole concept as a band is so fucking cool and I'm forever glad I got into them when I was younger.
