i've only been able to come this far with my coding skills thanks to many other people, so i would like to give thanks to them here 🙇‍♂️

there's a lot of websites that gave me inspiration for this site, but while it was in its infancy, a few in particular stand out for what inspired me the most: danppun and cinni! of course, i also have to thank carrd as well just for being the website to really get me into html/css in the first place. 💖

but most importantly thank you to everyone who follows me/views my site/leaves nice comments! i really am honored so many people love my passion project this much. (^□^)

version 1: unknown - october 2022

this was the beginning of my neocities page!
...it's very ugly and barebones.

i still didn't know how to code very well on my own here, if it wasn't obvious enough. this version also did not last very long, so i'd consider it more of a v0.5 than anything (lol). actually, this version and the next were both heavily inspired by an old carrd i made a little before this. i think it was around that time i got frustrated with carrd's limiting nature (for me), and just decided to go make something with the neocities account i made.

i didn't even style the hyperlinks text... how embarrassing. i always kind of forget this version exists, because i don't have an archive of it saved in my local folder for this site haha. i had to use the wayback machine for this screenshot... i'm glad i saved it, as painful as it is.

version 2: october 2022 - september 2023

i still really like this layout! it's much better than the first one that's for sure lol. though there's some things i wish i changed (like the border color on the bandaids). i think going back to a cute bright homepage like this again in the future would be fun... but i'm kind of stuck on dark colors for now.

this was also the birth of a new about page! i honestly don't know if i had one before this lol. as you can see, i really like... making windows themed pages. actually, this one had a toggle to switch between win 98, win 7, and xp layouts... it was not intuitive though... i never got around to fixing that.

version 3: september 2023 - june 2024

i'm going to be so honest i did not want to keep this layout for long lmfao. it was so hard to style everything around because of its peculiar shape, and... i was not that creative. hell, even the preview image shows this... i went through a ton of going back and forth on the layout. i had headers for the nav pages at some point, then i decided to just put them all together like that, and then i just... really did not want to try any longer. well, i still like the placement of the name/song lyrics and the stamps and all that, so maybe one day i'll find some way to use this...

i left this as the layout for a while. or rather, i abandoned it for a while (lol). i got lazy and didn't work on my site for nearly a year... i got inspired to come back when i started working on my izaya shrine, actually.

and now we're here! at v4. whenever i eventually update the layout to something new, it'll be added here. until then...!
